Faculty Position Opening in the Department of Geomatics, National Cheng Kung University

The Department of Geomatics at National Cheng Kung University invites applications for one tenure-track position on all levels, effective Aug. 1, 2014. Applicants must possess Ph.D. degrees in the related fields of Geomatics or Geospatial Information Science. Applicant’s Ph. D. thesis must focus on the theory of Geographic Information System and preferably have practical experience of GIS technology or application development. Duties include dedicated and effective teaching (using Mandarin and English) of cartography, digital mapping and GIS-related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
